Sources and changing information
The site combines reviewed public records, supplied operational registers, official geography and restrained editorial context. Names, registration status, contacts, room counts, prices, routes, schedules and facilities can change. Confirm material information directly with the property or responsible authority before relying on it.
Map positions, island outlines and reef geometry are simplified or normalised for legibility. They are for orientation and discovery—not navigation, measurement, boundary decisions or emergency use. Representative reef imagery is labelled and must not be understood as a photograph of the named property.
Travel, weather and ocean safety
Transfer descriptions and planning ranges are indicative. Weather, sea state, availability, operating conditions and local instructions take priority. Diving, surfing, boating and other ocean activities involve risk; use appropriately qualified local operators and follow their current safety assessment.
Bookings, payments and external links
Maldives.is does not accept reservations or money. Property and authority links lead to services controlled by third parties, which have their own terms and privacy practices. Check the identity of the recipient, written cancellation terms and payment instructions before sending money.
Investment information
Public investment material is general information only. Maldives.is does not receive proposals, arrange introductions, accept investment-related payments, certify opportunities or provide legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Confirm all material information with the responsible authority and obtain independent professional advice before any decision or commitment.
Acceptable use and responsibility
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, submit harmful material, impersonate another person or use published contacts for spam, harassment or unlawful activity. Source material, editorial writing, design and site assets remain subject to their respective rights.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, use of the site is at your own risk and the guide is not responsible for loss caused by relying on outdated, incomplete or third-party information. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
